Prayer is an integral and absolutely vital part of Celebration. We recognise the importance of prayer, individually and corporately, and believe that nothing is accomplished in God without prayer.

As is every church, we are called to be ‘a House of prayer’ for all nations - to pray the Father’s heart that His will be done. We are called to build a prayer covering over the city of Wellington and to pray for the leadership in the land that it may be well with us.

1 Timothy 2:1-2
“First of all then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings be made on behalf of all men.”

Ephesians 6:18
“With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints…”

Prayer-cover 24/7 is ongoing and ever changing. There are times when the church is called to prayer and fasting, and we are always ready to change the strategy under the direction of the Holy Spirit. We communicate this direction daily, weekly and monthly through prayer groups, newsletters and email.
